I went in for a checkup with my doctor, the fabulous Dr. Sutton of Lonestar Primary Care and Aesthetics, and in covering one of my recurring problems (tennis and golf elbow - neither of which are sports I participate in), she decided to draw some blood and run some tests.
During the discussion we got to talking about giving blood. Unfortunately, I am unable to give blood. Thanks to all the touring through England during the height of the mad cow mess, my blood is not accepted by any blood bank. It's a shame, I used to give blood quite regularly and (strangely enough) always enjoyed the process.
So do me and everyone else a favor. Give blood, it's always needed.
