I took this photo of the constriction at San Antonio International Airport earlier this year (2009). As they continue to work on Terminal 3 and the new elevated road system, I am amazed at the progress. When I moved here there was nothing and you can really see it taking shape here.
I just hope the new terminal has a luggage belt at the check-in area and some better stores inside. Terminal 2 is horribly boring to get stuck in for any amount of time. The good news is that with the airport's small size, you can easily move from terminal to terminal unlike many large city airports. If you get stuck at Terminal 2 for awhile, head over to Terminal 1 and you can at least grab a Starbucks (before security gates).
