You'll probably have to look closely to see the three birds in this photo taken outside a San Antonio Starbucks (Huebner Oaks). I believe they are zebra finches which my mother raised when we were kids (my mom loves birds - we had an aviary in my house when I was young). I'm not a super bird enthusiast, but I do love to watch them when they land nearby. I grew up in a rural area of Pennsylvania, but I swear we have more birds in San Antonio. I never expected the wildlife I see everyday here in San Antonio. I have to admit, it was a pleasant surprise when I moved here.
